I had an hour to make 4 flavours of chocolate truffles.
Time to get organised.
I chose 4 essences –> rose, orange, mango and strawberry.
Tip : You can pretty them up by sprinkling cocoa powder, chopped nuts, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate rice or dried cranberries on the truffles while they are setting.
When Anastasia Steele fell into Christian Grey’s office, she was enthralled by his voice, which she likened to warm chocolate.
If chocolate could speak, what would it say?
Let’s hear it from our chocolate Romeo.
Who needs men when you’ve got chocolates
September 12th is National Chocolate Milk Shake Day.
Where did it come from?
I have no idea.
All I care is that it’s a great reason to indulge in that yummiest of the yummy milk shakes – the chocolate milk shake.
Sipping or slurping this classic chocolate drink is pure bliss.
My sister got me the fifty shades trilogy and I was hooked. My pals have been talking about it. There’s going to be a movie about 50 shades of grey and what was most curiosity arousing? This book has been dubbed mommy porn.
Best read with a cup of tea. The trilogy’s heroine, Anastasia loves tea, bag out.
It started off as twillight fan fiction. Anastasia Steele, the innocent heroine is as self doubting as Bella of Twilight. Though Christian is no vampire, he’s got a dark, violent side and has a thing for bdsm. In real life, he’s the kind of guy a sensible girl would run screaming from. But as we know, romance novels heroines aren’t too sensible, or we wouldn’t have enthralling tales to read.
The Greys are so like the Cullens. Then there’s Jose, the unrequited love. Her best friend.
it was an addictive read with lots of interesting twists. Look forward to seeing who gets cast as Christian
I had the opportunity to attend the 70th birthday of my dear uncle, who had by his side as always the wife of his youth, still as beautiful as ever.
My childhood was spent in my grandpa’s home with my parents, single aunt and 2 single uncles.
One day, uncle brought home a lady who was so pretty I thought of her as a fairy princess. His girlfriend soon became his wife. The lovely couple has been together since, grandparents now, still you can see the love between them.
Love may start as chemistry and mutual attraction, but lasting love evolves to mutual support and a deeper friendship. Walking together day by day. Accepting each other at your worst as well as your best. Forgiving. Understanding. Growing together.
That’s real love.
Looking for love, but finding disappointment instead.
Does that sound familiar?
Thinking a romantic relationship would last forever, only to be faced with a rude awakening that things aren’t as rosy as they seem.
Jesus met a woman who had been looking for love for a long time.. in all the wrong places.
“The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.” John 4:18
He showed her love. In a culture where Jews stand apart from Samaritans, where women were second class citizens, Jesus, a respected Jewish teacher took the time to talk to a Samaritan woman who had been rejected by her people because of her lifestyle, hence her drawing water at noon when it was too hot for most people to be out in the sun, at the well.
He started the conversation, asking for a drink, which surprised her.
Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
Did you know that you are God’s beloved?
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
“I belong to my beloved, and his desire is for me.” Song of Songs 7:10
That book in the bible can make a person blush. What could the celibate monks make out of it?
God’s love for you is likened to a bridegroom’s love for his bride.
As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.
He wants you to be his beloved bride. The wedding of the Lamb is for you, His beloved.
Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
Would you like this to be your final destiny?
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:3-4
The choice is yours.
